I love Summer, especially the 4th of July. A parade, picnic and fireworks makes a great day. There are lots of fun things to do all month, lots of outdoor movies, and don't forget back to school shopping! Here are at least 31 things to do in July. July 1st: Go to a family friendly block party at the Muhammad Ali Center. 
July 2nd: Have fun at the Riverview Independence Festival. Build something fun at the Home Depot Kids Workshop
July 3rd: See the orchestra, watch the fireworks and more at the Louisville Orchestra Waterfront 3rd
July 4th: Have a fun family day at the Crescent Hill 4th of July Festival. Watch the 4th of July parade in Jeffersonville, IN.
July 5th: See a free kids movie at Xscape Theater on Blankenbaker.
July 6th: Check out Stuntology with Sam Bartlett at the Oldham County Main Library. Get free ice cream at the Beat the Heat Ice Cream Party.
July 7th: Learn about stone carving and help make a limestone project for the library at the Westport Library.
July 8th: See the movie Paddington at Movie on the Lawn night at Norton Commons.

July 22nd: See Inside Out at Cards Under the Stars.
July 23rd: Watch the balloons at the 4th annual Balloon Glow and Craft Show at Huber's.
July 24th: Swim! Try out the pool at Calypso Cove, Plainfield, John W. Black Aquatic Center, Douglass Hills and E.P. "Tom Sawyer" State Park.
July 25th: Go to Camp Wonderopolis at the Louisville Main Library.
July 26th: Teens can come to Draw Your Sword with Kentucky Shakespeare at the Oldham County Main Library.
July 27th: Listen to music at Waterfront Wednesday.
July 28th: Fly kites and watch the sun set at Kites and Classical.
July 29th: See your favorites at FandomFest.
July 30th: Cast spells at the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Release Party.
July 31st: Go to Carmichael's Bookstore on Frankfort for a "Wally Does Not Want A Haircut" Party and sign up for their Summer Reading Bingo.
