Last Saturday, I went to my first professional lacrosse game. Our own Kentucky Stickhorses play right here in Louisville at Freedom Hall. My family had a fantastic time and we are looking forward to attending our second game this Saturday.
The basic premise of the game which requires a shot on goal within 30 seconds of possession, kept us alert and cheering for our team. My little ones who are only 5 and 7 were able to follow the game and cheer along. They got a kick out of the penalty box and were happy when the opposing team was sent there and anxious for the Stickhorses to be release when the tables were turned.
The Stickhorses do a super job of making this a family event. Current music gets the fans pumped up during game play and keeps the kids dancing in their seats. The KaZoing! inflatable zone is present throughout the game so kids can burn off some energy when they need to stretch thier legs. KaZoing! also does face painting and had balloon animals during the last week's game. Even better, there's no addtitional charge for these attractions!
During half-time local youth lacrosse players take the the field showing fans that it's never to early to cultivate their love of the game. We found parking at Freedom Hall to be a piece of cake and the Macaroni Kid seats are fantastic!

Took our year old daughter to her first uofl football game over the summer. We got her the pom poms and were seated close to the band, everytime the band would play or we would get a touchdown she would throw her arms up in the air and did the touchdown sign. When the band would play she would stand and dance shking her pom poms...best sporting event i've ever been to!
