Summer Camp at Blackacre

Enjoy all that nature has to offer this summer at Blackacre Conservancy. For children in grades Pre K thru 6th grade, with three different themes split up by age group. There is WEE Explorers for grades Pre K and K, held June 15th-June 19th from 9am-11am. Through hands on explorations, crafts, games, and stories, campers will develop an awareness and appreciation for our natural environment. $75

Pioneers, Then and Now is for grades 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Held July 20th-July 24th from 9am-2pm, it will focus on discovering Kentucky's natural heritage through exploration of Blackacre's 1790s pioneer farm and natural areas.
Campers will engage in nature and pioneer investigations, arts and crafts, games,and use a camera to go on a photo safari. $120

Citizen Science Camp is for children in 4th, 5th, and 6th grades and is held July 6th-10th from 9am-2pm. It will focus on exploring the different environments of Blackacre. Campers will learn about different field methods to contribute to data that assists scientists with plant and animal research. They will also be taught how to start their own project at home or in the community. $120
