The Middletown Family Fun Festival

September 6, 2015

Come one, come all to the 2015 Middletown Family Fun Festival and Craft Show.  The two day event takes place Friday, September 11 and Saturday, September 12, 2015. Come visit your neighbors, bring your families, make new friends and celebrate the beginning of the fall season.

This is the the 43rd year the City of Middletown has hosted an outdoor festival.  The early modest events have grown to a Mega-Experience.  200 Vendor Booths comprised of food, crafts, educational, non-profit and commercial businesses insures something for every interest.  The “all-free” Kidz Zone can entertain the younger set for hours.   With three performance stages, toe-tapping is insured!  Our Saturday morning Dog Show is legendary.  Bring your beloved pooch and share their attributes with other dog lovers.....yours is sure to be a Blue Ribbon Winner.  The parade rolls at 11:45 AM.  As is tradition, the parade will be led by Middletown's own Eastern High School Band, followed by 100 entries.  This year's Grand Marshals are Betty and James Daigrepont.  Betty just retired as City Clerk and James retired as Director of Operations.  Both served the community for well over 20 years.  Please join in the fun, cheer them on and wish them well.  You must make time for Middletown First Baptist's Broadway on Main production of The Great Adventure.  It promises to be another Great Experience!  The festival closes with a HUGE fireworks display of sizzle, sparkle, glitter and resounding booms, all accompanied by the impeccable harmonies of the Wulfe Brothers performing your favorite patriotic selections.
