Cinema Safari at the Louisville Zoo: Haunted Mansion
Gate opens at 8 p.m. Movie starts at sundown
They’ve got 999 ghosts… but there’s always room for one more! Grim grinning ghosts come out to socialize during this 2023 movie based on the beloved Disney World ride. Haunted Mansion is a supernatural comedy film that follows a team of quirky characters as they try to rid a home of the ghosts that reside there. (Rated PG-13)
Catch a $5 Flick at the Zoo (free for Louisville Zoo Members).
Tickets must be purchased at the gate. Guests enter from 8 – 9 p.m.
Cinema Safari returns this summer to your Louisville Zoo! Enjoy a movie under the stars at the wildest theater in town. Join us in the Oasis Field at sundown to watch your favorite family-friendly movies on our giant inflatable screen. Snacks and other refreshments will be available for purchase. Don’t forget to pack your blanket or lawn chairs!

Free Summer Movies at Iroquois Amphitheater
Free Summer Movies continue through September 27th! The doors open at 6 p.m. and the first movie starts at 7 p.m. Each week we will have a fun movie for the whole family!
Grab your lawn chair, the Louisville Parks and Recreation Music in the Park series back this summer
The Downtown Drive-In is an outdoor movie night series, taking place at Brown-Forman Amphitheater on select Friday nights through October.
Movies will begin at sundown, with the amphitheater open an hour before to allow guests to grab their spot in the theater. The event will include snacks and beer for purchase from local brewer Ten20 Craft Brewery. Movie-goers are also welcome to bring blankets and lawn chairs to the viewing.
In collaboration with Waterfront Development Corporation, the film series is hosted at Waterfront Park’s Brown-Forman Amphitheater, 1301 River Road. The event is free to the public with free parking available at Waterfront Park’s Tan and Turquoise lots.
No tickets are required for the outdoor film screenings, but guests are encouraged to arrive early to save their spot. The Downtown Drive-In events are weather dependent.

The Cherokee Triangle Association Summer Concerts, held in Willow Park on Sundays from 7-9pm, is a favorite annual series that’s free to attend and open to the public. Below is the line-up for the 2024 summer’s series.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation Movie in the Park Series
91.9 WFPK Independent Louisville and Waterfront Park are proud to announce the 22nd season of WFPK Waterfront Wednesday! Proceeds from WFPK Waterfront Wednesday benefit Louisville Public Media and Waterfront Park.
The free concerts take place on the Big Four Lawn in Louisville’s Waterfront Park. The Big Four Lawn is located next to the Big Four Pedestrian and Bicycle Bridge. The lawn open at 5 p.m., with music beginning promptly at 6 p.m.
Bring the family early to visit Waterfront KidsDay, a dedicated area for kids and families to do hands-on activities and fun. Waterfront KidsDay will be open from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. during each month’s show.
