I thought I would start sharing about some of the playgrounds that we visit regularly that are in our area! This week is Hounz Lane Park. I posted about it on the Macaroni Kid Louisville East Facebook page this week.
Hounz Lane Park is a Louisville Metro Park. It is located off of North Hurstbourne Lane. The address is 2300 Hounz Ln, Louisville, KY 40223. You won't see it from the road. It is tucked back and kind of hidden, which makes it a relaxing, quiet park.
There is a large shaded playground, with swings set off to the side. The best part is the creek. The creek winds along the entire side of the park and has large stones that you can walk on to get right down to it. There is a bridge that is just perfect for creek watching from too.
There is a pavilion that can be reserved through the city, otherwise, it is open for anyone to use. The only bathroom is a port-a-potty. There are 3 places to grill, with lots of picnic tables and places for a picnic. Get more information HERE and Find Your Family Fun!
