Free Thanksgiving Printable: An A-to-Z Way For Kids to Give Thanks

This printable encourages the whole family to consider what they're grateful for this Thanksgiving

By Francesca Walker, Macaroni Kid North East Miami and Miami Beach, Fla. November 6, 2020

This is the time of year that we celebrate all the reasons we have to be thankful. If you're like me, you probably feel so thankful sometimes you could burst. But can you come up with 26 reasons -- in alphabetical order? Can your kids?

This FREE Thanksgiving Day printable gives everyone in your family a chance to see how creative they can be in coming up with things they're grateful for -- from A to Z! At the same time, you're helping your whole family realize just how much they have to be thankful for!

This is a great activity to do with kids -- and adults! -- of all ages. Once everyone is done with their alphabet, compare answers to see how many responses are the same. You can even reward the person with the most creative responses (or the most thoughtful responses!) with an extra piece of pie. The person who doesn't finish their sheet? Dish duty, of course!

Don't feel like you can only use this sheet at Thanksgiving. It could also be a great Christmas activity ... or a good way to practice gratitude any time of year!

After all, there is always something to be thankful for.
