June 25, 2024

The Northeast Regional Library will once again host a day full of free art, games, and creative outdoor activities for the whole family. The Greatest Day of Play returns Saturday, June 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Kids and families can build a box city, create chalk art and a giant splat paint mural, go on a bug scavenger hunt, find fossils with the Falls of the Ohio State Park staff, and so much more! Join Good Karma Yoga for some family yoga, hear some out-of-this-world tales from storyteller Thomas Freese, drum with Louisville Orchestra, and meet Louisville Water Company mascot Tapper.

Dress to get messy in our mud pit too. Food trucks will be onsite with food for purchase.

The Greatest Day of Play is free and will be held on Northeast Regional Library’s 13.5-acre campus (15 Bellevoir Circle). For more information, visit www.LFPL.org/Kids, or call (502) 394-0379.

The Greatest Day of Play is part of the Louisville Free Public Library’s annual Summer Reading Program. Presented by the Library Foundation, Summer Reading is a free 10-week program that encourages kids and teens to read for fun over the summer by offering prizes and incentives.
