Who says you need to travel for an epic Spring Break? StageOne Academy’s spring break day camps will give your kids a staycation to remember! Choose a single day or the whole week to keep your kids entertained and create memories that’ll last a lifetime!
Spring break camps are for Ages 5-7 and 8-11 are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily during JCPS spring break week - March 31-April 4. Camps are $40/day plus a $50 registration fee.
Monday, March 31 – Puppet Party!!
A day filled with crafting and pretend. Learn the fundamentals of performing with puppets, explore the company’s professional stock of puppets, then design and create your own puppet and perform with it.
Tuesday, April 1 – Mystical Meets Magical
We are pleased to inform you that you have a place in our guild of enchantment. Craft your own wand, whirl into spellcasting, perfect some potions, study magical creatures, and play fantastical games.
Wednesday, April 2 – Whimsical Words and Whatnot
Bring your favorite book to share and invent new stories too. You’ll learn about transforming a story from the page to the stage.
Thursday, April 3 – Game Play
Drama games, board games, and more! Drama games are super fun and are an important foundation for actors to build cooperative acting skills for the stage. For a change of pace, we’ll pivot into table top games, which will later be the inspiration for improvising new stories to act out together. What if the Hungry Hippos invaded Candyland? What if Link & Zelda met some Pokemon? Our favorite games will turn into stories to perform.
Friday, April 4 – Masquerade of Masks
A day filled with crafting and performance. Learn the fundamentals of performing with masks, explore the company’s professional stock of masks, then design and create your own mask and perform with it.
