For Children: On a daily basis Yew Dell offers Scavenger Hunts, Backpactivities, the Bag, Book and Blanket program and fun in the Wild Woods (aka on the wooded hiking trails to the pond).
On Saturday mornings May - August - the popular Children in the Dell Program involves children a variety of activities with a nature/garden theme.

Yew Dell Botanical Gardens was designated in 2012 by Horticulture Magazine as one of the top 10 botanical gardens to see in the country and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. As a nationally recognized center of gardening and sustainable horticulture, Yew Dell offers beautiful garden displays throughout the year, hiking trails laced through its natural areas and exceptional architecture, both old and new.
