Anchorage 4th of July Firecracker 5K Walk/Run

Details: Whether you’re an avid runner or more of a casual walker, please join our community for our annual Firecracker Walk and Run. Bring the entire family, and feel free to dress festively in your red, white, and blue. More registration information will be available on the Anchorage Civic Club Facebook page or show up the morning of the event to register. Registration is $15 for Civic Club members, $20 non-members, $5 for under 21 years old, and a $40 maximum per family, payable by card, cash, or check. The City of New Albany’s Shoreline Independence Day Celebration

New Albany, IN
This free, family-friendly event opens at 6pm and features performances by The Crashers with The Boot Scoots. There will be plenty of local food and drinks available on-site, as well as games and inflatables for kids. Be sure to stick around for the beautiful FIREWORKS display at dark!

Independence Day Celebration at Locust Grove

Details: Join us at Locust Grove as we celebrate Independence Day in early 19th-century style at Historic Locust Grove! Festivities of the day will include walk-throughs of the historic house, first person interpreter portrayals, public readings of the Declaration of Independence and excerpts from Frederick Douglass' speech "What to the Slave is the Fourth of July" and more. Food trucks will be on-site for food and drink, or bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on the grounds.

Anchorage Independence Day Parade and Picnic
July 4th, Registration 3:30 p.m., Parade 4:00 p.m.
Anchorage KY
Details: Everyone can be part of the biggest Anchorage Independence Day Parade this year. Bring your decorated motorized vehicles, horses, bikes, walkers, strollers, and wagons. The route begins at Anchorage Presbyterian Church and ends at Wagner Park. The judges will be located at Shall We Dance Studios. Watch our Facebook Page for more details and plan how you will participate and where to watch – and cheer on the parade entrants. We encourage you to get creative.
Anchorage Independence Day Picnic, Immediately following the Parade at Wagner Park
The Annual Independence Day Picnic will be back and better than ever this year. Please bring your chairs, blankets, and picnic supplies. There will be a live DJ and the North versus South Tug-Of-War. You will not want to miss the announcements of the Firecracker Walk and Run winners, parade winners, mailbox contest winners, and the recipients of the coveted Manure Spreader.
