We called ahead and scheduled our tour for 10:00am. When we got there we went to the main desk to check in. It was an easy process, after that was done our guide strapped us into our climbing gear, which included a full body harness, a special double hooked belay and helmet. He gave us a tutorial about how to do the three step process to transfer from on of the 76 challenges to another. After that we were ready to go! You can enter the course from 2 different spots and then you are free to go from one challenge to the next in whatever direction you want to go.
I have never tried anything like this before and was a little worried that I would be able to do it. We got started and quickly got used to the challenges. Some of them took a lot of balance and concentration, some we walked right over quickly. I must say it was very exhilarating! At the start of a lot of the challenges I would look at it and wonder how I was going to get across, then I would start and and make it all the way to the end! So exciting to accomplish something like that when I had no confidence that I could do it! And it was even better to see my son be able to do all of the challenges too. We even got to zip line at the end, that was definitely the best part! We went back on the course a couple times just to be able to zip line again! We were on the Mega Quest for about an hour and a half and we did not get to all of it.
Plan on spending at least 2 hours, your tickets gets you 3 hours if you like. Wear closed toed shoes, such as tennis shoes, flip flops are not allowed. To schedule your tour go HERE.
