When my son was a baby he had many problems with eczema. Being first time parents we had no idea what is was and tried lotion and kept using our usual soap on him. We finally took him to the doctor and they recommended that we start using a gentle cleanser and a cream moisturizer instead of a regular lotion. I had no idea that regular soap is so drying. The Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser is non-soap, fragrance-free and hypoallergenic. It is perfect for cleansing all skin types, from healthy skin to skin with conditions such as diaper rash, dry skin, rosacea, eczema, acne and seborrheic dermatitis.
Now winter is here, and with it comes dry skin. Ever since my son's bout with eczema I am much more aware of what my skin needs. We even purchased a humidifier that attaches to our furnace. It helps, but not enough. My family's skin still needs extra moisture. Cetaphil's Moisturizing Cream is perfect. It absorbs quickly into my skin and is not greasy at all. My skin feels instantly softer and smoother. It is suitable for moisturizing healthy skin, along with sensitive skin and skin with conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.
Cetaphil also makes Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths. I had never used them before, but I will say they are great for this mom on the go. Just pull one out, and wipe your face to clean it, even remove your makeup. You don't even have to rinse! I have been using them on busy mornings, they sure come in handy! They are PH balanced, hypoallergenic and gentle enough to use everyday.
